Camping
We are open for camping.
The Nimbin Showground is a great place to camp within easy walking distance of the village of Nimbin.
Facilities include powered and non-powered sites, a camp kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, kettle, sink, and free electric barbecue), toilets, hot showers, and a rotary clothesline. We also have a dedicated dump point for the benefit of motorhome operators.
Access to all sites is on a first-come basis. We do not take bookings as there are almost unlimited sites available. However, we do ask that campers arrive before dark to ensure the safety of themselves and other campers when setting up. And under no circumstances is camping inside the showring allowed. If you are travelling in a group that requires 4 or more campsites, please contact us via email at least 4 weeks in advance of your intended arrival date.
Our caretaker will be present between 8.30am and 9.30am each morning, and 5pm and 6pm each afternoon.
Prices per night, per person: Adults: $15, Couples $25. Twelve years and under: free. Maximum stay: seven nights.
Effective 1 February 2025 powered sites will be charged at:
Singles: $20/night; couples $30/night
