Lyn Larsen AM, Nimbin Local and cricket legend has a long history with the Nimbin Show as this newspaper clipping from 1984 demonstrates. We are very proud that Lyn is able to open the 2024 Nimbin Annual Country Show. Lyn appeared in 15 test matches and 49 One Day Internationals for Australia between 1984 and 1994, captained the side between 1986 and 1993. Lyn was just this year inducted into the Australian Cricketers Hall of Fame.
The official 2024 show opening will be at approximately 2pm (following completion of cattle exhibits, and ahead of the Grand Parade) Saturday 21 September. We look forward to seeing you there.
